CSR Initiative by Tembo Builders

 

At Tembo Builders, we believe that access to clean and safe drinking water is a basic human right, not a privilege. As part of our ongoing commitment to community welfare and sustainable development, we have launched the Safe Drinking Water Program under our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.

 

🌿 About the Program

The Safe Drinking Water Program is designed to address the pressing issue of water contamination and scarcity in underserved rural and urban communities. Through this initiative, Tembo Builders aims to ensure that every individual—especially children and the elderly—has access to clean, potable water for a healthier life.

 

🎯 Key Objectives

• Improve public health by reducing water-borne diseases.

• Provide sustainable water solutions through installation of RO water units, water tanks, and filtration systems.

• Create awareness on water hygiene and conservation.

• Empower communities with the knowledge and tools for long-term water safety.

 

🛠️ Implementation Highlights

• Installation of water purification units in government schools, Old age homes and Public places.

• Regular maintenance and quality checks to ensure uninterrupted supply of clean water.

• Conducting awareness workshops on safe water practices, especially among school children and women.

• Collaborations with local governing bodies and NGOs to expand reach and impact.

 

📊 Impact So Far

• Over 700 people across 2 Schools have benefited from the program.

• More than 1,000 litres of safe water distributed daily.

• Significant reduction in water-borne illnesses reported by school management.

 

🌍 Our Vision Ahead

Tembo Builders aims to scale this program across more regions of Karnataka and eventually across India, with a focus on sustainability and community ownership. By integrating innovation with compassion, we strive to make a lasting difference—one drop at a time.
